9.4.8 HELP RAISE AWARENESS OF INFERTILITY

National Infertility Day is all about helping provide those suffering the effects of infertility with a wide range of information. This unique event naturally attracts media attention, which we can use to help raise awareness of the issues surrounding infertility and promote the message that infertility is an illness which requires medical treatment and support.

We already have some press who would like to run human interest stories running up to and surrounding the event and who are interested in speaking to people affected by this illness. If you think you might feel able to help us by sharing your experiences then please contact Susan on susanseenan@infertilitynetworkuk.com or call 01294 230730 for more information. Your details will never be given to the press without your permission.

25.9.7 - DATE & VENUE FOR NID 2008

Saturday 19th July has been chosen for the date of National Infertility Day 2008 in celebration of 30 years of IVF.

Louise Brown, the world's first baby to be born following IVF will be 30 years old on the 25th of July (info).

Central London has been our location for previous NID's as it's easily accessible by public transport and has provided us with a maximum capacity audience of onver 600 delegates. Again we have chosen to hold the event at the New Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden (info) as the venue caters well for our larger sessions in the main hall, it has varied rooms for use during our satellite sessions and provides two good areas for our exceptional exhibition.
